About
About tinnitus.here
tinnitus.here is a free guide for people whose tinnitus has just started, and a finder for tinnitus care in the US. It is published by Oto Health.
How clinics are chosen
At launch, the finder lists clinics from Oto Health’s provider directory. A clinic is listed when it is in the US, has chosen to be shown in the directory, is active, has at least one named clinician, and sees patients in person. Virtual-only and test entries are left out.
Next, we plan to add clinics whose own websites name tinnitus evaluation or management as a service they provide. A passing mention in a list of symptoms doesn’t count. We record the page we checked and the date.
Nobody pays to be listed or to rank higher. Results are sorted by distance only. A listing is not a recommendation, so check with the clinic before you go.
Clinics can ask us to correct or remove a listing at any time.
Clinical review
The guide on the home page is reviewed by Dr Edmund Farrar, co-founder of Oto Health, which publishes this site. It follows the AAO-HNS clinical practice guidelines on tinnitus (2014) and sudden hearing loss (2019). It is general information, not medical advice.
Privacy
This site has no cookies, no forms, no accounts and no tracking scripts.
When you search by ZIP code, the lookup happens in your browser. Your ZIP code is not sent to anyone, including us.
When you use your location, your browser asks first. Your location is used on your device to sort clinics by distance. It is never sent anywhere and never stored.
Tapping Directions opens Google Maps with the clinic’s address. Tapping Website or Book online opens the clinic’s own site. Those sites have their own privacy policies.
We count visits in aggregate with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies or identify you. The site is hosted by Cloudflare.
